Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated part-time teacher to serve grades 6-12, delivering LifeWise Bible-based lessons with care, patience, and strong communication. The role emphasizes relationship-building, faith alignment, and a supportive classroom culture.

You will complete required LifeWise trainings, participate in annual events, and maintain accurate records while engaging with students, parents, and volunteers to advance spiritual and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization
• Maintain Records: attendance, class rosters, health concerns, and permissions
• Maintain the Classroom: organized, safe, age-appropriate environment
• Communicate: act as LifeWise ambassador, liaise with school personnel and volunteers
• Promote and communicate LifeWise's religious mission in all duties
