Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to lead LifeWise classes for grades 6–12, applying LifeWise curriculum and building relationships with students. The role requires active church involvement and a mature Christian faith aligned with our statement of faith.

Responsibilities include completing training, maintaining records, communicating with staff and volunteers, and delivering age-appropriate lessons in a well-structured classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation and commitment to a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters, including health notes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and handle age appropriate management.
• Communicate as LifeWise ambassador, keeping school personnel and volunteers informed.
