Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks an engaged educator to teach LifeWise classes for grades 6–12. The role emphasizes strong Bible knowledge, caring instruction, and active church involvement. You will plan lessons, implement LifeWise materials, and engage students with prayer and redemptive discipline.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, and requires completion of the LifeWise Teacher Certification and participation in annual LifeWise events.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• A mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map lessons accordingly.
• Maintain accurate attendance, rosters, and documentation for substitutes.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and foster a respectful learning environment.
• Communicate with program director, staff, volunteers, and school personnel as needed.
