Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher for grades 6–12 who can demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and strong teaching ability. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church and communicates effectively with students, families, and staff.

The role includes completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification, delivering LifeWise lessons, maintaining attendance and class rosters, and representing LifeWise in the community while adhering to the program's beliefs and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Maintain an organized, safe classroom and promote student engagement.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; attend LifeWise events.
