Job Summary:
Early High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Principal to support and enhance the educational experience for our students and staff. This leadership position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Principal and other school leaders to ensure the effective functioning of our school, with a focus on fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Principal in the overall management of the school, including academic leadership, student discipline, and extracurricular programs.
  2. Supervise and evaluate teachers and staff to ensure high standards of performance.
  3. Promote a positive school climate and culture that supports student success.
  4. Collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional practices and implement effective teaching strategies.
  5. Oversee student behavior and discipline, ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
  6. Manage and implement student services, including academic interventions and counseling programs.
  7. Provide leadership in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities for faculty and staff.
  8. Coordinate school events, activities, and programs, ensuring they align with the school’s goals and objectives.
  9. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the community regarding school matters and student progress.
  10. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as district policies and procedures.
  11. Support the Principal in the development and implementation of the school’s annual budget.

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field (required).
  2. Valid Texas Principal Certification (required).
  3. Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience (required).
  4. Previous administrative experience in a school setting preferred.
  5. Strong understanding of educational best practices, student development, and instructional strategies.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  8. Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative school environment.
