This session is an advisory meeting where industry professionals give insights into the following programs of study:
The purpose of these CTE advisory meetings is to align programs with industry needs and ensure relevance to the job market. They facilitate collaboration among educators, business professionals, and community members for program development and evaluation.
Participants include industry members such as Jennifer Reese (Software Engineer, Western Governors University), Larci Roberson (Sr Sales & Customer Service, Red Sense), Michael Dailey (CEO, Invictus Legacy Builders), as well as teachers from Arlington ISD.
We seek participants for each program of study. The upcoming date is 5/30/2025 at 3:30 PM (America/Chicago), lasting approximately 1 hour, for high school students in subjects like Information Technology and Computer Science, with a small class size of 5 students. Preferences include computer programming, web development, and information technology.
