Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. in Peoria, IL seeks a Plant Supervisor to oversee Assembly, Modification and Touch up paint operations.

You will plan, lead, organize and control all processes to meet production schedules, quality, and safety standards, guiding group leaders and associates to achieve set goals. You will supervise material flow, train staff, enforce quality and 5S, ensure environmental compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in supervision.
• Assembly, diagnostic and operating knowledge of construction equipment.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and supervise others.
• Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet schedules.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the flow of parts and machines through warehouse, fabrication, assembly, and paint processes.
• Lead training and communications to ensure quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, environmental and 5S responsibilities are followed.
• Motivate associates to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Coordinate daily schedules for welding, machining, shot blast, painting, and warehouse operations.
• Assign employees to meet the daily schedule and monitor attendance.
• Support payroll and maintain attendance records.
