Job summary

DHT Group, based in Reese, Michigan, is seeking a Second Shift Welder / Fabricator to join our fabrication team. The role covers welding, measuring, layout, fit-up, and final inspection on varied shop projects.

You will read prints, use standard fabrication tools, and ensure high-quality workmanship. You will contribute to a safe, efficient shop environment, maintaining organization and helping with repairs and modifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience welding and metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret prints/drawings
• Accurate measurement and layout skills
• Commitment to safe work practices

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate components for shop projects
• Measure, lay out, cut, fit, tack, weld and finish parts
• Read and work from prints and specifications
• Use grinders, saws and cutting equipment
• Inspect welds and finished parts for fit and quality
• Assist with fabrication, modification and repair projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with shop personnel to complete projects safely
