Job summary

Romark Logistics, LLC is seeking a Team Lead for the second shift in Hazleton, PA. This role oversees inbound/outbound warehouse activities and leads a team to ensure smooth, safe operations on a Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM schedule.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating unloading, put-away, picking and loading, and addressing maintenance issues while driving productivity and quality across the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic PC skills (data entry, Excel spreadsheets).
• Strong communication skills (written, oral and penmanship).
• Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Competency with materials and inventory management.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Responsibilities

• Inbound responsibilities include unloading, transporting and put-away of product and assigning trucks to doors.
• Outbound responsibilities include picking, transporting, loading, sealing trailers and staging outbound loads.
• Provide leadership and foster positive employee relations through communication, coaching, training and development.
• Ensure maintenance or repair issues for facilities, vehicles and equipment are addressed and communicated to management.
• Provide Shift Supervisor with feedback on employee performance for evaluations; ongoing feedback.
• Assist the Shift Supervisor with identifying and resolving process issues to improve productivity.
• Assist warehouse employees with resolving work/process problems.
• Examine and monitor warehouse employees’ work for accuracy, neatness and quality standards.
• Exhibits safe behaviors and promotes safe work practices with employees.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
