Job summary

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift (start time 10:00 AM). You will oversee warehouse staff, supervise shipping, receiving and storage activities, and ensure efficient operations while controlling costs and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a grocery warehouse environment, plus the ability to lead a team, train staff, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• One to two years supervisory experience and/or experience working in a grocery warehouse environment.
• Ability to supervise and develop warehouse staff and ensure efficient operations.
• Familiarity with safety, sanitation and operation standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse employees in housing product, order selection, and delivery preparation for members.
• Ensure productive, timely, and quality shipment and receiving of products for member stores.
• Increase production and optimize workforce usage to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Direct shift workforce deployment in response to changing needs; hire, train, and evaluate staff.
