Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; five years related experience as a warehouse supervisor/lead.
• Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and Warehouse/Yard Management Systems would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites work flow.
• Assigns duties and reviews work for accuracy and adherence to policies; distributes paperwork for picking/processing.
• Advises employees on care of goods and proper use of equipment.
• Promotes safety and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
• Reviews production schedules and coordinates with other supervisors to ensure timely shipping.
• Confers with supervisors to monitor progress and coordinate across departments.
• Contacts carriers regarding pick-up schedules and follow-ups.
• Oversees staffing agency workers and evaluates performance for continued placement.
