Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply (IMS) is a full-line metal service center serving customers since 1948. The Second Shift Supervisor will lead warehouse floor personnel, ensure safety and training, and support maintenance.

You will oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on process enhancements to maximize throughput and quality. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and efficient resource use while meeting IMS high-quality standards and 1.5% RGA

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and mentor team members for excellent performance.
• Schedule, assign, and train production staff while ensuring safety and production quality.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness per GMP and 6S Lean standards.
• Optimize use of equipment, manpower, and materials to maximize productivity.
• Maintain safe, healthy work environment with regular audits and checks.
• Collaborate with management to improve warehouse layout and workflows.
