Job summary

VMC Group is seeking a highly motivated Shop Lead to oversee our second-shift warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and supervise staff. You will manage receiving, storage, picking and shipping while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of warehouse supervision/management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in WMS and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff on the second shift, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking and shipping operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Monitor inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts and audits.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows.
• Prepare reports on inventory, shipping logs, and KPIs using WMS and related software.
