Job summary

VMC Group and Companies is seeking a Shop Lead for our Houston, TX warehouse on the second shift. You will supervise staff, manage daily warehouse operations, and promote teamwork to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, cycle counts, safety compliance, and reporting using the WMS. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of supervision experience in a fast-paced environment and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervision/management experience.
• Proficiency with WMS and inventory systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff on second shift.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA guidelines.
• Prepare reports on inventory and KPIs.
