Job summary

MELALEUCA INC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Plant worker to set up and operate machines used for filling products into tubes and bottles on the 2nd shift. This on-site, full-time position starts at $18 per hour and runs 2:45 pm to 1:15 am, Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math for reports and labels.
• Manual dexterity for spraying, sweeping and lifting.
• Stand/walk for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up vats or tanks and prepare lines for operation.
• Operate filling lines and verify fill levels, batch codes and labels.
• Clean equipment and maintain quality standards.
• Enter data into computer and complete shift documentation.
• Train other associates as needed and assist maintenance as required.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of machine and workspace.
