Responsibilities include die disassembly/reassembly, setup, troubleshooting on injection presses, and minor tooling repairs. The role requires mechanical/machining experience, ability to read micrometers, documentation discipline, and forklift certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read micrometers and verniers and maintain tooling documentation.
• Experience with setting up and troubleshooting die tooling on presses.
• Prior tool and die or machining background in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble dies.
• Set up and troubleshoot die setups on injection presses.
• Perform minor tooling repairs.
• Use mills, lathes and surface grinders to produce replacement parts.
• Maintain documentation for tooling setups, PMs and modifications.
• Support tooling department as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including weekend coverage.
