Job summary

Amherst Central School District is seeking a Laborer for the Amherst Middle School location. This civil service non-competitive position requires working 40 hours per week on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:45pm–11:45pm) with a start date of November 23, 2026.

Salary is $18.92/hr plus applicable shift differential. Great benefits include NYS Pension, health coverage, and paid holidays, vacations, personal and health days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform moderately heavy physical Labor.
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees).
