Job summary

Ventura Coastal is hiring for a 2nd Shift sanitation/general labor position at the Visalia, CA facility. You will support production areas with cleaning, yard work, and general labor tasks as directed by supervision. Shift is 2pm - 10:30pm with overtime and weekend requirements.

The role emphasizes food safety, CCP awareness, and adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule. A forklift license is required or obtainable, with 1 year sanitation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in sanitation.
• Must have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to speak English desirable.
• High school graduate or equivalent desirable.
• Previous experience in a plant manufacturing environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide janitorial and general labor services in the manufacturing area as directed by supervisor.
• Food Safety is the responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees and CCPs must be documented.
• Follow and complete duties outlined in Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Prepare cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Clean control panels and maintain chemical storage.
