First-Shift General Laborer – Forklift Eligible

Job summary

Ventura Coastal is hiring for a 1st Shift janitorial/general labor role at the Visalia site. Work includes cleaning in the production area, yard maintenance, and light manual labor with shifts from 6am to 2:30pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, maintaining safety and CCP documentation, and assisting in various manufacturing tasks as needed. Prior plant experience is preferred, and a forklift license is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to speak English desirable.
• High school graduate or equivalent desirable.
• Previous experience in a plant manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide janitorial and general labor in the manufacturing area as needed.
• Operate and assist with forklift tasks safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas and surrounding spaces.
• Assist in preparing drums for production and pallet repairs.
• Support in yard clean-up and housekeeping tasks.
• Follow safety rules and CCP documentation as required.
