Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Receiving and Planning Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound material flow, shipments, and receiving documentation. You will support shortages, expedited shipments, and production-impacting issues, ensuring a seamless handoff to the first shift.

The role requires experience in receiving, inventory control, and ERP systems (SAP/IMS); strong Excel skills and cross-functional communication are essential for success on the second shift.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 2-4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in receiving, inventory control, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to prioritize critical issues independently during second shift and communicate status via shift handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second-shift contact for material shortages, expedited shipments, and delivery issues.
• Investigate missing materials, delays, and discrepancies; coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and planners.
• Process and maintain purchase orders, invoices, debits, chargebacks, and material transfers.
