Job summary
Daimler Truck North America in Mount Holly, NC is hiring a Receiving and Planning Coordinator for the 2nd shift to manage inbound and outbound material flow, shipments, receiving documentation, and inventory transactions to keep production running smoothly.
You will monitor shortages and expedite deliveries, coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and planners, provide detailed handoffs to first shift, and support ASN compliance and material transfers using SAP/IMS.
Qualifications
- BS/BA and 2-4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in receiving, inventory control, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations, including material shortage management and expedited shipments.
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate across departments; proficient with ERP systems and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Serve as second-shift contact for material shortages, expedites, and urgent delivery issues impacting production.
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments; maintain receiving documentation and reports.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, debits, chargebacks, and material transfer transactions; monitor ASN compliance.
