Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC. is hiring a Receiving and Planning Coordinator for the 2nd shift in Mount Holly, NC. You will manage inbound/outbound shipments, process POs, and support production with critical material shortages and expedited deliveries.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience or a BS/BA, strong ERP and Excel skills, and the ability to hand off detailed information between shifts to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or 6+ years of experience in receiving, inventory control, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience prioritizing critical issues during second-shift operations and communicating status via shift handoffs.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or IMS) and Microsoft Excel; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second-shift contact for material shortages, expedited shipments, and delivery issues affecting production.
• Trace and document shortages, expedites, and receiving issues with carriers, suppliers, and planners.
• Maintain receiving docs, bills of lading, packing slips, and weekly transfer reports.
• Open Material Transfers and support shop floor leaders with material needs.
• Monitor freight activity, conduct disposition analysis, and ensure inventory accuracy.
