Job summary

Rocket EMS is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Second Shift) in Carson City, NV to ensure high-reliability PCB assemblies meet IPC standards. You will perform First Article Inspections, monitor SMT line quality, document pass-downs, and halt production when defects arise.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in an electronics inspection role.
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation prior to inspection.
• Conduct SMT First Article Inspections and verify IPC compliance.
• Monitor throughput and quality; halt production for defects.
• Provide daily quality pass-down reports to leads/supervisors.
• Escalate issues and initiate Technical Inquiries when needed.
• Adhere to ESD, MSD handling, and safety protocols.
• Support continuous process and quality improvements.
