Job summary

Safety-Kleen in New Berlin, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to coordinate daily production operations and lead the production team to meet targets, quality, and safety standards.

The role works closely with the Production Manager to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining a safe, positive work environment and encouraging staff development.

Qualifications

• High School + specialized training or 1 year college in Manufacturing Business Management or Process Engineering.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Forklift Certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and acting in a safe manner always.
• Ensure effective communication between production associates, leads and management staff, by ensuring that established policies are properly adhered to.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop production associates to ensure the attraction, development and retention of the best talent.
• Establish and maintain a positive work environment including personnel development, training, safety and housekeeping.
• Implements plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
• Assures attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that exceed customer expectations.
