Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Humble, TX to oversee day-to-day production and packaging operations. You will drive SQDCM goals and lead a team to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills, with prior experience in food manufacturing preferred. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to sustain continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe work

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of related work experience in an industrial food manufacturing operation; supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, team and teambuilding skills.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives and tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee production and/or packaging lines.
• Manage work flow by monitoring steps of the process and setting processing variables.
• Develop and apply CI and Lean tools to improve performance.
• Plan and lead CI initiatives as Team Leader and Team Member.
• Build cross-functional relationships to transfer knowledge and drive improvements.
• Provide leadership, direction, feedback and coaching to direct reports.
