Job summary

Foster Poultry Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production and sanitation across shifts, training and motivating team members to achieve yields, quality and safety goals. The role requires coordinating with department leads to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company policies.

Qualified candidates will have a B.S. in Business Management or equivalent, at least 3 years in food processing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the food processing industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Balanced technical/human resources knowledge; ability to interface with all support groups.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
• Must read and write English; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all production and sanitation activities through shift leads; train and motivate team members to achieve goals in yield, quality, productivity and safety.
• Directly responsible for department goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, cost and safety.
• Develop and train team members within union and company policies; monitor area standards and performance.
• Provide timely feedback to supervisors on productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost and safety.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on all equipment and implement improvements when needed.
• Lead safety orientations and hold safety meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
