Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Production Shift Manager to lead poultry processing production shifts, ensuring objectives, quality, and safety at the plant. The role requires willingness to work 2nd shift and to coordinate across production, maintenance, sanitation, quality, and logistics teams.

Candidates should have 5+ years in poultry/food industries with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, strong leadership and communication skills, and a HS diploma/GED (bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in poultry/food industry required with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.
• Educational requirement is HS diploma/GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage poultry processing production operations and supervising departments.
• Coordinate production, maintenance, sanitation, quality, shipping and receiving.
• Monitor performance to meet production efficiency, yield and quality goals.
• Set objectives, review performance, and drive cost reduction while ensuring safety.
