Responsibilities

• Read and understand the shop traveler (job order, instructions, customer specifications).
• Set up and operate different types of machinery according to processes and job requirements.
• Evaluate product quality and verify procedures are followed.
• Record defects and document quality data in the system; escalate issues when needed.
• Read and report data on shop orders and in computer applications.
• Acquire materials, prepare production area, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow safety training and PPE procedures; report accidents or safety concerns.
• Cross-train in other departments and operate additional equipment as needed.
