Job summary

FXI is seeking a Production Supervisor for the second shift in Baldwyn, MS. You will lead mattress manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and supervise production associates and leads.

You will drive daily production plans, monitor performance, manage staffing, and coordinate changeovers with minimal downtime while upholding Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands strong leadership and a focus on cost control and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing production teams in fast-paced environments.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift safety activities and enforce FXI safety policies.
• Manage daily production operations to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Coordinate staffing and assignments to maximize labor efficiency.
• Drive first-pass yield improvements and defect reduction with QA/Engineering.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates and leads.
• Support Lean, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and production reporting.
