Job summary

York Wallcoverings in York, PA is seeking a Press Operator to operate residential or commercial presses on a second shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00PM - 1:00AM). You will monitor presses, adjust settings for ink distribution, temperature, and speed, and perform daily quality checks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to speak/read/write English, and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Forklift experience and safety certification are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine parts to ensure proper speed, pressure and temperature for quality production.
• Monitor and control machines to maintain the daily/weekly production schedule.
• Complete quality checks and paperwork daily to maintain production standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑maintained work environment; perform maintenance as time allows.
• Review work orders and instructions to determine materials needed.
• Set up the press and manage ink distribution, speed, and temperatures.
