Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Salt Lake City is seeking a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 to support our Mission Systems team on the second shift. The role requires careful assembly, soldering readiness, and the ability to work with microscopes in a high-precision environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma with additional education or experience, be able to read and write English, and be prepared for the 3pm–12:30am shift on a 9x80 schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Experience working with a microscope.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must be able to work Second Shift 3pm-12:30am.
• Able to achieve J-STD-001 certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision electromechanical products.
• Drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; use precision measuring instruments.
• Assemble, disassemble, repairs and reassemble precision assemblies.
• May assemble and modify prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
• May monitor and verify quality per statistical process or other control procedures.
• Spend ample time using a microscope for assembly and inspection.
