Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 3 (1st Shift) to join on a 9/80 schedule.

Candidates will handle precision assemblies, soldering, wiring, and build documentation, collaborating with engineers to improve instructions and processes. US citizenship and ability to obtain SECRET clearance are required.

Experience with SAP/MRP and strong attention to detail are preferred, with a focus on mechanical assembly and tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years related experience.
• Proficient in English reading/writing/communication.
• Experience following Assembly Instructions and Build Documents.
• Minimum 4 years soldering experience.
• Advanced mechanical assembly skills and use of measuring devices.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform handling and assembling precision electromechanical products such as navigation instruments and assemblies.
• Demonstrate advanced soldering and wiring skills following instructions for precision measurements.
• Assemble at Top Assembly level, installing wiring harnesses and circuit card assemblies while maintaining build documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering to update assembly/build instructions and improve methods.
