Mercersburg Academy is seeking a skilled Second Shift Maintenance Technician (3:00pm - 11:30pm) to join our facilities team with a strong background in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment, infrastructure, and utility systems during off-peak hours and respond to emergency issues that arise during second shift hours.

Preferably with a Journeyman Plumber license and ability to read blueprints, P&ID, and plumbing

Formación

• Two plus years of hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential plumbing maintenance or installation.
• Journeyman Plumber license or equal; Backflow Certification highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
• Shift Readiness: available for 2nd shift, overtime, and possible weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair MEP plumbing systems across campus buildings.
• Coordinate with Assistant Director of Campus Safety to monitor mechanical/electrical rooms.
• Identify piping issues: leaks, pressure drops, clogs, temp issues.
• Perform PM tasks on pumps, boilers, backflow assemblies, drains, and lines.
• Assist with general 2nd-shift maintenance incl. basic electrical work, HVAC filters, and carpentry.
