Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a Plumbing Mechanical Technician - Intermediate for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm – 12 am, Mon-Fri) with potential weekend/holiday overtime. The role focuses on performing repairs and maintenance within the facility and on production equipment to ensure reliable operations, under moderate supervision.

Candidates should have 0–3 years of related experience, basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, and ability to interpret schematics.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of related experience in maintenance, automotive, or basic HVAC.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Ability to work independently and meet repair requests.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and operate basic tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office and CMMS.
• Ability and willingness to follow Health Safety & Environment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple to moderate repairs and maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and related systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and routine lubrication.
• Interpret schematics and manuals to complete repairs.
• Assist in training junior technicians and maintain records of activities.
