Job summary

dormakaba is seeking a Second Shift Material Handler based in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves operating material handling equipment, processing incoming products, and ensuring accurate deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will use SAP and RF devices to manage material movements, support multiple departments, and contribute to efficient operations. The package includes benefits and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience communicating effectively within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience, or the ability to be certified on such warehouse equipment.
• Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 25 feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment including Fork Truck, Forklift, WAV, and Turret Stock Picker (TSP).
• Maintain appropriate stocking levels without disrupting customer deliveries.
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify packing slips, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Process material movement transactions in SAP via RF device or computer.
• Pull material parts from bins using a pick list and RF device to fill Transfer Orders.
