Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Second Shift Material Handler to join our Rhode Island warehouse team. Primary duties include picking and staging items, using a handheld scanner, and operating a forklift and order picker as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at loading dock locations.
• Use handheld scanner to locate items and move them to the dock door.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items to reclaim or RTV areas.
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner adhering to company safety standards.
• Meet quality standards by inspecting products as pulled/loaded.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization on loading dock and warehouse aisles.
• Strive to meet team efficiencies for items pulled without sacrificing accuracy.
• May assist unloading or loading trucks when necessary.
