Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up and run power machinery, read blueprints, and ensure quality of work-in-process. You will work from shop drawings, perform gauging calculations, and help with labeling and documentation.

Shifts can be up to 12 hours and require more than 40 hours per week. Physical stamina, good communication, and teamwork are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write legibly and work from blueprints or sketches.
• 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for gauging and setup calculations.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Lifts up to 51 lbs and stands/walks during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate power machinery (shear, roll, punch, form, etc.).
• Work from blueprints, routing tickets, and shop drawings.
• Calculate gauging and set-ups for special work.
• Attach labels and assist in quality checks.
• Crosstrain with other operators and maintain paperwork.
• Move material in and out of the work area and monitor WIP.
