Standex International Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (6PM–6AM, Monday to Thursday) at our Sugar Land, Texas facility. You will run and set up automated/semi-automated machinery, document production steps on a tablet, and follow Work Instructions and BOMs throughout each shift.

The role requires basic math/reading, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of manufacturing experience.

Formación

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• 2+ years operating automated or semi-automated machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or SOPs.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to safety, quality, and business policies/procedures, and maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Use a tablet computer to generate the production documentation required for the operation being performed.
• Perform work as per the Work Instructions, Bill of Materials and build specifications used in their area of training.
• Setup and properly operate the equipment utilized in their area of training.
• Perform all required setup, self and progressive inspections in their areas of training.
• Document required information on travelers, logs, reports and Red Tags
• Maintain tools and equipment, perform basic PM activities, and request service when necessary
• Perform work to acceptable levels of quality and productivity
• Be cross trained in multiple machinery and switch machines as needed
• Other duties as assigned
