Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Tennessee is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production of doors. You will set up and operate power machinery such as shear, roll, punch, form, robotics; work from blueprints and cut lists; ensure accuracy and quality.

You will read gauges, adjust setups, label parts, cross-train, maintain paperwork, move materials, check orders, and uphold safety. Overtime may be required; you will be part of a diverse team dedicated to safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong math and gauging knowledge.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate power machinery for standard, semi-standard or special materials.
• Work from blueprints, routing tickets, cutting lists, and shop drawings.
• Mathematically calculate gauging and set-ups; adjust as needed.
• Attach labels and ensure proper identification on parts.
• Cross-train with other operators and maintain paperwork.
• Move material in and out of the work area.
• Assess quality, identify issues, and take corrective action.
• Check status of orders; ensure timely processing.
• Promote safety and comply with regulations and Code of Conduct.
