Job summary

Tramec Sloan, LLC in Urbana, Ohio is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

This full-time role on the second shift (3:30pm–1:30am) requires a strong work ethic, ability to work independently and with a team, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; experience

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical documents.
• Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams with good communication.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and Plex systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Repair conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Shut down/start up machines per safety procedures and lockout/tagout.
• Interface with maintenance planning, safety, and production teams.
