Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Second Shift Manufacturing Supervisor in Liverpool, NY, reporting to the Production Operations Manager. You will oversee daily operations of a work group to ensure high-quality products, on-time delivery, and strong performance metrics.

You will supervise a team, plan assignments, and coordinate activities to boost throughput while maintaining a safe, inclusive workplace and effective communication with internal/external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Working Knowledge of MS Office Software and Systems.
• Proven ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics.
• Experience managing hourly performance, assignments, training, labor records, and overtime schedules.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of a team.
• Planning and assigning work to direct reports.
• Coordination of activities to increase throughput and reduce inefficiencies.
• Ensuring all direct reports are adequately trained and prepared for work.
• Tracking performance metrics, attendance, throughput, and standards.
• Building effective relationships.
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace.
• Working with ESH to ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Assisting in the development of strategies to increase throughput and reduce inefficiencies.
