Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Archbald, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Planner (Second Shift) to drive Make, Buy and BOM planning and optimize material flow to meet production schedules. You will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to balance capacity and ensure on‑time delivery.

The role requires SAP or an MRP system, strong analytical and Excel skills, and the ability to work outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3 years related professional level experience or 1 year with related Masters.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent MRP system.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, with strong Excel skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
• Must be able to work outside of normal operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute Make, Buy, and BOM planning activities to support production schedules and material flow.
• Collaborate with Operations Management, Supply Chain Stakeholders, and Engineering to optimize production plans and capacity.
• Perform planning activities associated with MRP and maintain production system integrity, drive inventory optimization and minimize cost.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control and execute production plans.
• Analyze and control production schedules and capacity requirements to meet customer demands.
• Expedite and prioritize workflow through the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of products.
