Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per electrical diagrams and manuals. You will document all work in our CMMS while following safety and GMP requirements.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, wiring and control systems, and occasional fabrication. In-person work on first shift with potential weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety rules.
• 2+ years in an industrial setting, preferably food manufacturing.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Familiar with CMMS and documenting work orders.
• Willingness to work first shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on drives, belts, filters, and shafts.
• Document work using a mobile CMMS device.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, PLCs, sensors, and electrical circuits.
• Teardown/rebuild of gearboxes, actuators, and related parts.
• Install and modify guarding and equipment components.
• Support food safety and quality programs in daily tasks.
• Train junior technicians and operators on procedures.
