Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per diagrams, manuals, and GMPs. You will document work orders in CMMS via a mobile device and ensure product integrity while adhering to safety procedures.

The role spans mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks including welding, gearboxes, PLCs, and HVAC support, with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2 years industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in fabrication and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, belts, and filters.
• Document work orders in CMMS via mobile device.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment (motors, PLCs, conveyors).
• Work with electrical wiring and control circuits from 5VDC to 480 VAC.
• Teardown and rebuild gearboxes and actuators.
• Record damaged parts and report findings; maintain cleanliness.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Support HVAC systems as needed.
• Follow safety and GMP policies.
