Job summary

MPI seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the second shift at a rapidly expanding food production facility. You will supervise a maintenance team, drive preventive/predictive programs, and partner with production to maximize uptime while ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience within food manufacturing.
• Previous maintenance supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities across multiple disciplines.
• Experience working in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of food safety programs and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and work assignments.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance work order execution through CMMS platforms.
• Monitor inventory levels for critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and food safety regulations.
• Support facility improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Partner with production teams to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
