Job summary

Bailey International is seeking a Machinist I to safely and accurately operate CNC or manual machines that fabricate tubes, rods and components used in hydraulic cylinders. You will read drawings, set up production equipment, and monitor quality to ensure conformance to specifications.

This 2nd shift position runs Monday–Thursday 4:00pm–2:30am, with a 3–6 week training period on 1st shift (5:30am–4:00pm). A high school diploma or GED is required; production experience and programming familiarity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machine to fabricate tubes, rods, and components.
• Operates a manual machine for fabrication.
• Reads mechanical drawings and performs calculations.
• Interprets instructions and follows management direction.
• Uses quality control equipment (calipers, gauges, micrometers).
• Maintains equipment and performs preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrates urgency and attention to detail.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Adheres to Five 'S' standards.
