Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking an on-site Machinist to set up, tend, and operate manually controlled lathe, drill press, vertical milling machine and swaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, measure tolerances, and perform in-process inspections.

The role requires good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow ISO procedures. High school diploma or GED is required, with technical school certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints for machined parts.
• Use gauges and measuring tools to verify tolerances.
• Operate lathe, drill press, vertical milling and swaging equipment.
• Select and secure fixtures and cutting tools correctly.
• Perform in-process inspection and document results.
• Complete paperwork for parts and maintain records.
• Follow ISO requirements and quality policies.

Responsibilities
