Bailey International is seeking a skilled Machinist II to safely operate CNC and manual machines fabricating tubes, rods, and components used in hydraulic cylinders. You will read drawings, perform basic calculations, and ensure products meet specifications.

The role is on the Weekend shift, Friday–Sunday 5:30am–6:00pm, with responsibilities including setup, documentation, and adherence to safety policies. This position emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to set up and run two or more machines (CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, manual lathe/mill).
• Conversational programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine to fabricate tubes, rods, and components.
• Operate a manual machine for fabrication.
• Read mechanical drawings and perform calculations.
• Interpret instructions and respond to management directions.
• Use quality control equipment (calipers, gauges, micrometers).

Job Summary

A Machinist II safely and accurately operates a CNC or manual machine that fabricates tubes, rods, and components used in hydraulic cylinders. Sets up and operates production equipment to manufacture, process, and assemble various commercial products and substances. Uses product specifications, blueprints, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOP) to produce products. Monitors output for quality and conformance to required metrics. Prepares and maintains required records of production activities and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues. Follows established guidelines for safe material handling and protective gear. Typically reports to a supervisor. A02-Intermediate : Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.

This position is for the Weekend shift. Friday-Sunday 5:30am - 6:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Operates a CNC machine to fabricate tubes, rods, and components
• Operates a manual machine for fabrication.
• Reads mechanical drawings for components, tubes, rods and makes needed calculations

• Selects and uses appropriate equipment, supplies and tools
• Maintains equipment daily
• Follows safety and security policies and procedures and reports any unsafe conditions
• Maintains a clean work environment
• Adheres to Five “S” standards and procedures

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to independently set up and run two or more of either CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, program Mazatrol and G- Code, or rework/fabricate complete parts on manual lathe/mill
• Conversational programming experience
