Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Machine Operator for the Mead, Nebraska area to join the second-shift Insulfoam team. The role focuses on fabricating and machining components for production equipment, maintaining tooling, and assisting in the die room when needed.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years as a machinist, strong skills in CNC/milling and blueprint reading, and experience with ISO documentation. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a machinist, with progressive die experience considered
• Ability to select, align and secure fixtures and cutting tools on mills/lathes/grinders/CNC machines
• Capable of setting speeds/feeds and verifying dimensions with precision instruments
• Ability to interpret engineered drawings and communicate effectively
• Possess basic math skills and the ability to perform first piece inspection for ISO compliance

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and machine metallic and nonmetallic parts and assemble into units
• Check drawings/specs to determine tolerances and sequence of operations
• Adjust programs, speeds and feeds to maintain machining quality
• Perform first piece inspection and document results for ISO
• Operate machinery and assist in die room as needed
• Maintain safe work practices and housekeeping
