Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Machine Operator for the Insulfoam team in Mead, Nebraska. This 2nd shift role involves operating a propane sit-down forklift, moving materials, and supporting multiple plant areas as needed.

Starting pay is $22.46 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. The position is fully onsite with a standard 40-hour week and occasional overtime; 2pm–10:30pm shift. Benefits start Day 1 and include comprehensive coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated with a good, sound work ethic.
• Experience operating a propane sit-down forklift or other powered equipment (PIT).
• Demonstrates safe working practices and high attention to detail.
• Able to follow Carlisle's policies, procedures, and processes.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Basic computer, math, and problem-solving skills; can use a calculator.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
• Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
• Able to learn and operate new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and document activities.
• Move raw materials and finished products, keep production lines clear, and maintain storage.
• Assist with other plant areas (e.g., Machine Operator) as needed.
• Support housekeeping and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
